The results are in! And the winners are…

Thanks to all who submitted your personal stories about how OLIVENOL has made a difference to you and those who are dear to you. We received submissions from the youngest of 2 years old Lai Khyentse and retirees in their 60s.

Dr Allan KC Yee, 1951 to 2009: A Champion for Psoriasis Sufferers

Psoriasis sufferers in Malaysia lost a good friend. Dermatologist Dr Allan Yee Kim Chye, suddenly collapsed of a heart attack on Sept 16, 2009.

Allan will be missed by many. His contribution to Psoriasis community in Malaysia is significant. He was instrumental in the set up of the Psoriasis Association of Malaysia, the only organised psoriasis support group, and served as it’s advisor.

Unlike other doctors, Allan refused to give up on finding a solution for this disease. Exploring beyond the knowledge and limitations of conventional medicine, he kept an open mind to adopt phyto nutrients as adjuvant therapy. He single handedly taught us more about P than we could ever learn from books or experience.

Allan has a genuine compassion and was hopeful that the positive results he saw in the OLIVENOL livin’ trial he conducted could form the scientific basis for a solution to a large community of sufferers.

Our sense of loss is compounded. Prof Numano who first discovered the positive effects of Olivenol on psoriasis passed away before he could publish his findings. And now Dr Allan Yee having completed a similar trial in Malaysia with very positive results has passed away before he could publish his findings.

We received this tribute on our Facebook Page from Jaclyn Phong, one of Allan’s patient:

Dr Allan Yee was my derm and he put me on the olivenol clinical trial for my psoriasis for 3 mths from march. Coupled with healthier diet habits, I have seen much improvement since then and am still taking olivenol daily today. I started seeing him March this year, and honestly he was the best derm I’ve seen thus far coz he truly cared to understand my medical needs coz he understood the psychological and emotional impact of this skin condition and gave me many useful medical advice tailored to my lifestyle. I’m gonna miss him.

Dr Allan KC Yee made a difference in the lives of others. He lived a significant life, he fought a good fight. A doctor, a scientist, a friend, a champion for many.

Product Authenticity and Unauthorised Discounting

We received this email today from a consumer:

My cousin have recently bought the Olivenol Begin-Liquid form (1bottle) for me. She says that it’s actually RM189 but given a discounted price at RM170. However, to be eligible for the RM170, she must return the box to the seller (**** Pharmacy at Bandar Mahkota Cheras) So unfortunately, when she presented to me last Sunday, I could not check online whether it is genuine or not! Please advise

This is our reply to her and the same one we wish to announce to all consumers:

We DO NOT recommend consumer purchase OLIVENOL without the original packaging and security label. The pharmacy is not complying with our product sales and distribution guidelines. We suggest you go back and demand they provide you proof of authenticity. This is your right and it is designed to protect you.

For your information, OLIVENOL livin; liquid is sold at fixed price of RM189, nationwide. No one is allowed to discount. The ONLY approved promotion is BUY 4 before 30 Sept and get 1 bottle Free. The pharmacy is probably collecting your box to claim free unit for themselves. This is unethical practise on their part and unfair to other pharmacies.

We do not condone such practises. Action will be taken against this pharmacy if we confirm that this is indeed the case.
