My OLIVENOL Story – Dhania Mohamad
Dhania Mohamad submitted her short story on our facebook wall. We thought is it should be included to our blog/facebook notes as a permanent record. Read below, her winning story:
At the age of 3 months old I was diagnosed with eczema. As I grow up the eczema is on and off. Sometimes it become very severe. When I was 12 years old, my parents found out about acupunture. After using acupunture the eczema went away. But still my skin become red when I drink milk.
After a few months I had joint pain. I even can’t walk. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at the age of 12 years old. The doctor said it may be caused by infection due to eczema. After a year the pain went away. However 2 years ago, the RA came back. I was afraid that I won’t walk again, so I took pain killer again everyday.
About 3 months ago I found out about OLIVENOL via facebook. After using OLIVENOL for 2 months, I’m happy that the pain is reduced and I don’t have to take any painkiller anymore. For bonus, my skin also become more smooth. Now I’m 24 years old and I’m glad that my health become better because there is so much thing I want to do.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY OLIVENOL!
Congratulations Dhania for wining 2 packs of OLIVENOL livin’ BEGIN capsules. We wish you well with best of health to achieve all you aspire to do in life!
My OLIVENOL Story – Lim Ai Lian
In conjunction with our 2nd Anniversary Celebration, we are inviting consumers to write in and share their stories on FACEBOOK. We will pick 20 winners out of the most popular stories. We receive this story from Lim Ai Lian:
In July 2008, I developed multiple joint pains in my shoulders, fingers, elbows and knees. The dr. I saw in a public hospital sent me for some blood tests and based on one reading, said I could be having Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). He referred me to a rheumatologist in the same hospital. In the meantime, I went to a pharmacy to buy something and found a brochure on Olivenol in the plastic bag that contained my purchase. I was very excited to read about the efficacy of Olivenol in managing RA and wasted no time in buying a pack of capsules. Impatient to see results, I took 3 capsules a day instead of the 2 recommended on the box. After two weeks, I was delighted to find that my joint pains had decreased, except in my knees. When the rheumatologist eventually saw me, he concluded that what I had was Osteoarthritis (OA) and not RA. I told him about Olivenol and he asked me to take more of it!
I’ve been on Olivenol since July 2008 and have been recommending it to anyone who has joint pains. My sister who has OA in her fingers, has found pain relief from taking only 1 capsule a day. She in turn recommended Olivenol to a friend who has RA, and her friend is very grateful to her because she too has found pain relief. Having read that Olivenol is also good for “neuro-degenerative diseases”, I recommended it to another sister whose memory is failing. Her memory seems to have improved after taking 2 mils of the liquid daily for many months.
I take 2 capsules a day on most days, but I find that my pain relief is now not as good as when I first started. I wonder if I’m becoming immune to Olivenol or my OA has worsened. Anyway, my two sisters and I will continue to take Olivenol until and unless the price becomes unaffordable (hint, hint!) or a better supplement emerges.
Happy Anniversary OLIVENOL!

Hey Sisters, Watch Out for Arthritis!
Did you know that 3 out of 5 arthritis patients are women? Statistics show that arthritis strikes women more often than man, and several of the more common forms are more prevalent in women.
Osteoarthritis (OA), also known as degenerative joint disease, is the most common form of arthritis. It is characterized by the breakdown and eventual loss of the cartilage in joints, and it is often caused by “wear and tear”. Women usually develop it after the age of 45.
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is another common form of arthritis which usually strikes women between the ages of 25 to 50. It is an autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints and other organs.
Patients with arthritis usually suffer from pain, stiffness and swelling at joints, which causes limitations in daily living activities and overall diminution in quality of life. As the condition becomes more severe, symptoms may include a total loss of function in the affected joints.

What happens when the body’s defence system turns against its own components?
(This article appeared in Star Health on January 17, 2010)
SUFFERERS of lupus, eczema, psoriasis, allergy dermatitis, psoriatic arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have different, yet related, conditions. This article will explain how diseases that are so different share a common thread.
In order to do this, you need to understand the origin of these diseases.
Each is a chronic disease that manifests as inflammation of a particular organ. Treatment of these diseases is typically focused on relieving the symptoms of the affected organs, e.g. skin and joints.
It may surprise some of you to learn that the symptoms of skin rash, skin plaques, skin lesion, inflamed joints, and frozen shoulders are actually related and have something in common.
Psoriasis is thought to be an autoimmune disorder. Each of the diseases listed occurs as a result of hypersensitivity of the human immune system to external substances (allergies, dermatitis, and eczema) or reaction to normal body tissues (psoriasis, lupus, and RA).
What is the immune system?

Hydroxytyrosol From Olives Is Found to Promote Cartilage Repair and Regeneration
In our series of articles on arthritis so far, we reviewed scientific and medical research on the major categories of natural therapeutic supplementation in the market. Glucosamine and chondroitin remains the most popular choice. However there is growing evidence that not everyone benefits from glucosamine and chondroitin. Scientist are working to find alternatives.
Without repeating ourselves here, you can read our previous articles on this subject in the following links:

Are There Alternatives to Glucosamine and Chondroitin Therapy (GCT) for Arthritis?
In Malaysia, an estimated 60% of the population will have some form of arthritis by the age of 60, particularly osteoarthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), on the other hand, affects a smaller percentage of our population and can affect all age groups.
Osteoarthritis (OA), the most widespread type of arthritis, is a degenerative disease of the joints. Although sometimes capable of causing acute inflammation, it is most commonly a “wear-and-tear” disease involving degeneration of joint cartilage and formation of bony spurs within various joints.
Most people over 60 years of age have this affliction to some extent requiring them to seek medical care. The main goal of treatment is to relieve pain. Glucosamine and chondroitin have been widely promoted as a treatment for OA.
A cursory survey of any retail pharmacies or multi level marketing (MLM) product catalogues will yield a wide range of glucosamine and chondroitin variants. It accounts for the largest product category amongst all health supplements.
